Sprouts, a new store in Redlands, has brought healthy alternatives to the town.

Sprouts is a farmer’s market theme grocery store, that sells mostly natural and organic products.

Sprouts stands out different from most grocery stores, due to its fresh sushi made at the store, an oliver bar with 16 different types of items, a salad bar, a juice bar, a sandwich bar, and its freshly brewed coffee.

Sprouts sells in bulk; they have food in barrels and bags next to them, in which you can fill up your cart. Sprouts ensures healthy options.

A feature that Sprouts has is a “Recharge Relax” zone, in which there are tables and outlets where you can recharge your phone.

There is a microwave with plastic utensils next to it. This is design for those who do not want to leave immediately, and just sit back and eat.

Established in 2002, Sprouts’ mission statement is “We believe healthy living is a journey and every meal is a choice. We love to inspire, educate and empower every person to eat healthier and live a better life. This isn’t just a mission. It’s our passion.” Standing by their passion they encourage their shoppers to live a wholesome life. Giving their shoppers robust recipes, tips, and articles on their Healthy Living Resources page online, on their website. Taking another step in helping the well-being of their shoppers they do not sell cigarettes, in their stores.

Sprouts is located at 560 W Stuart Ave, Redlands, CA 92373. It is nearby the old Krikorian Theatre, which is now called Studio Movie Grill.
